NVTV – Gardner (Navajo/Paiute) and Fiddler (Cheyenne/Sioux)

Cihuapilli Rose Amador LeBeau (Yaqui/Mexica – HOST) and Craig Pasqua (Co-Host) interviews two guests: Lee R. Gardner (Navajo/Paiute; Job Developer and Coach) of Native TANF and Raymond Fiddler (Cheyenne/Sioux; Wood Craftsman) Mato Numpa Cedar Designs on Native Voice TV.

Gardner gives an overview of the current Native ‘Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (Native – TANF) city and state locations and its TANF’s mission.

TANF began by a Congressional Act of 1996. It gives ‘Federally Recognized Tribes’ the authority to independently design, adminster and operate their own Tribal ‘TANF’ programs.

Gardner speaks of many of the Native people are having to move out of Santa Clara county due to high cost of living but in a positive light of how successes are also being lived by native people.

The second guest of the show, Raymond Fiddler speaks about his company (Mato Numpa Cedar Designs) offering the community and across other states their hand crafted and ‘Lasered’ Designs on ‘American Red Cedar and Redwood’ boxes.

Fiddler speaks his near death experience and how Native Traditional Healing saved his life. Fiddler speaks of his company working on ways to offer those who lost their family and friends ‘Monuments’.

NVTV – Comedian Marc Yaffee (Navajo)

Cihuapilli Rose Amador LeBeau interviews Marc Yaffee (Navajo) an Indigenous Comedian on Native Voice TV.

Yaffee mentions about the 10th Annual Comedy Jam sponsored by the ‘Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley and its hard working crew.

LeBeau  asks Yaffee what he has been doing and what his future plans are? Yaffee speaks of his 40 week tours around the nation (At Colleges, Casinos, Communities and to IRAQ) and his fundraisers and upcoming TV series starting this April 2017 (Six Episodes on FNX, Hulu – ‘Almost American’).

Yaffee ends this show entertaining CreaTV studio (San Jose, CA) guests with 15 minutes of just what he loves doing … Making people laugh. enjoy and share.

NVTV – Tony Redhouse (Navajo Nation)

Cihuapilli Rose Amador LeBeau (Host) and Craig Pasqua (Co-Host) interviews Tony Redhouse (Navajo Nation) on Native Voice TV.

Tony Redhouse is of the Navajo Nation, gives us his update of his involvement in two documentary films, ‘Death Makes Life Possible’ (Marilyn Schlitz & Deepak Chopra) and ‘Is Your Story Making You Sick’ (Frances Causey).

Redhouse speaks about his perspective of Spirituality as how ‘Personal Balance’ makes harmony with all life forms throughout the Universe. He speaks about ‘Dreams’ as a reflection of earth and the spirit world.

Redhouse finishes with his indigenous songs with instruments of simplicity.

NVTV – Michael Liu (Navajo) – “Safety & Mission Assurance”

Cihuapilli Rose Amador LeBeau and Craig Pasqua (Co-Host) interviews Michael Liu (Navajo), Director of NASA’s Safety and Mission Assurance on Native Voice TV.

This show is very interesting and has many aspects as what NASA AIM Research Center can offer and how the Native American Advisory Committee (NAAC) continues to try to get the Native American youth make careers in NASA.

Liu has been on Native Voice TV eight years prior and gave an update of what he has done within NASA’s organization.

Liu as the Director of Safetly & Mission Assurance mentions his department responsibility in all aspects to make it safe for all people and all missions become sucessful.

Liu speaks in detail the major aspects of safety. Pasqua (Co-Host) asks Liu how many Native Americans are in NASA. Liu mentions about John Harriton (retired) is the first Native American to fly in a Space Shuttle mission and how NASA has many different types of careers it can offer.

Liu continues to speak his continual involvement to recruit Native American youth to make careers in NASA.

Cihuapilli Rose Amador LeBeau interviews Tony Redhouse (Navajo Nation) on Native Voice TV.

Redhouse travels throughout ‘Indian Country‘ as a Singer, Flutist and Dancer. He provides Native American ‘Spirituality‘ through his music, songs and dance.

Redhouse speaks about his family of six with each being a Native American performer. His family tries to make ‘Modern Society‘ aware of Native Cultural Spirituality
through their performances.

Redhouse speaks about his ‘Regalia’ especially his ‘Beadworks‘, their colors and symbols which represent his past, present and future.

NVTV – Anecita Agustinez (Navajo/Dine) – “Navajo Rugs”

Cihuapilli Rose Amador and Sundust Martinez interviews Anecita Agustinez (Navajo/Dine) of the ‘Bitter Water Clan‘ on Native Voice TV.
Agustinez is from the western region of the Navajo reservation. She is on the show to speak about the Navajo rugs. She brought a variety of rugs and a rendition of a traditional Navajo loom.
Agustinez explains in detail how the ‘LOOM’ was brought down to the people as a gift from the ‘Spider Woman‘ who was given that ‘Gift’ by the creation story

Her’ – “Father Sky“.
This show is so educational about the Navajo rug’s design, its color, age and from what regions they were made. This interview is very informative about Traditional Navajo Ceremony Rug Weavers.
